Patagonia is redefining waste through their Common Thread Garment Recycling Program. Customers can bring back their old and worn Patagonia clothes by dropping them off in the "Drop Your Drawers" box at any Patagonia store. These garments are broken down and then transformed into new clothes. Their goal is to make all their clothes recyclable by 2010.
Seems like they're doing a good thing! Reducing carbon output and fuel consumption through recycling - gives us all encouragement to think of ways we might fashion our business or personal lives to benefit through recycling!
Thanks again to Dave and Shantel for this excellent series!
This is a very good idea. It could help a lot in preserving the environment. Keep it up and nice idea... Hope this could be done not only in the US but all over the world.
It won't take more than 10 years before the earth will drown due to excessive waste products if we don't contribute in cleaning our very own community. Videos as such should be spread even in far flung areas.
Personally I think, that this entry is really great and informative indeed. I have to admit that it was quite interesting to read this your post... duvet covers
